Robert A. Pruzan, Partner, co-founded Centerview in 2006. Mr. Pruzan specializes in all aspects of domestic and international M&A. Prior to Centerview, he was Head of Global Investment Banking and CEO of North America at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and President of Wasserstein Perella & Co. Selected transactions include advising Kraft on its acquisition of Cadbury; Altria on its spin-offs of Kraft and Philip Morris International; Kraft on its merger of the Post cereal business into Ralcorp; Philip Morris on its merger of Miller Brewing Company into South African Breweries; Ralston Purina on its sale to Nestlé; Philip Morris on its acquisition of Nabisco Holdings; Rohm and Haas on its acquisition of Morton International; Lilly Industries on its sale to Valspar; Herzog, Heine, Geduld on its sale to Merrill Lynch; SunAmerica, Inc. on its merger with AIG; CSX on its acquisition of Conrail and its sale of American Commercial Lines; San Miguel on its sale of Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines to Coca-Cola Amatil; Maybelline on its sale to L’Oréal; Philip Morris on its sale of Kibon to Unilever, its sale of Lender’s Bagels to Kellogg and its sale of Kraft Foods Bakery Companies to CPC International; Swisher International on its going-private transaction; Gerber Products on its sale to Sandoz; Ralston Purina on its spin-offs of Energizer, Agribrands and Ralcorp; and the Italian government on its disposition of its food company holdings. Mr. Pruzan holds a BA from Wesleyan University and graduated with distinction from Harvard Business School. He is a former member of McKinsey & Company, where he specialized in strategic consulting for consumer products companies and financial institutions. Mr. Pruzan serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for the Ethical Culture Fieldston School and is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of ArtsConnection and President of the Board of Trustees of The Jewish Museum.
