Tony Kim has spent his career focused on M&A across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Kim worked at Lazard and Wasserstein Perella & Co. Selected transactions include advising Kraft Foods on its sales of Post cereals to Ralcorp, Milk-Bone to Del Monte and Lender’s bagels to Kellogg; Altria on its acquisitions of Nabisco and John Middleton and the spin-offs of Kraft Foods and Philip Morris International; News Corporation on its acquisition of Dow Jones; Bon Ton Stores on its acquisition of Elder Beerman; Tommy Hilfiger on its acquisition of Pepe Jeans; Peapod on its sale to Royal Ahold; Rykoff Sexton on its merger with JP Foodservice; Premium Standard Farms on its sale to Smithfield Foods; Ralston Purina on its spin-offs of Energizer and Agribrands; CSX on its acquisition of Conrail; San Miguel on its sale of Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines to Coca-Cola Amatil; PowerBar on its sale to Nestlé; and Alcatel on its acquisition of IBM’s call center software business.
Mr. Kim holds B.S. and B.A. degrees from the Wharton School and the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania.
