Jonathan Mandel is a Partner at Centerview focused on healthcare services and technology. He has more than 13 years of experience advising healthcare companies on mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism, equity and debt financings, and other complex strategic issues.
Selected transactions Jonathan has advised on include Oak Street Health’s sale to CVS for $10.6bn, TeamHealth’s sale to Blackstone for $6.1bn, Dassault Systemes acquisition of Medidata for $5.8bn, Cigna's sale of its Medicare Businesses and CareAllies to HCSC $3.7bn, Gainwell’s acquisition of HMS for $3.4bn, MedAssets sale to Pamplona Capital for $2.7bn, The Advisory Board Company’s sale to Optum and Vista Equity for $2.6bn, the Special Committee of the Board of Convey Health’s sale to TPG for $1.1bn, Humana’s $1.1bn divestiture of Concentra to Select Medical and WCAS, Humana’s $600mm Partners in Primary Care joint venture with WCAS, Accolade’s acquisition of 2nd MD for $460mm, Kepro’s sale to CNSI, ERT’s acquisition of Bioclinica, Astorg’s recapitalization of ERT alongside Nordic Capital and Novo, WellSky’s recapitalization with TPG and LGP, and Press Ganey’s sale to Ares and LGP. Prior to joining Centerview, Jonathan was a Vice President in the Healthcare Group at Goldman Sachs, and began his career at Fitch Ratings. He received his BA from Vassar College.
