He has over 25 years of experience as a strategic advisor to life sciences management teams and boards across medical device, diagnostics and tools, and biopharma companies. Over the course of his career, Rak has engaged with clients on a broad range of complex strategic transactions, buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity financings, and partnerships.

Prior to joining Centerview Partners in 2022, Rak was Vice Chairman at JP Morgan and Global Head of the MedTech practice. He spent his early career at Baxter Healthcare where he served roles as sales representative and operations manager.
He has an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BS in Film Production from Syracuse University.
